Calf exercises

Below are three exercises for your calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus). I primarily like to prescribe these exercises to help with ankle strength and mobility. Do these exercises towards the end of your workout and focus on performing them with a full range of motion.

They are also beneficial to do if you want to put size on your calves, but they should not be your primary exercise if this is the goal. I recommend doing compound movements (squats, deadlifts) and plyometric exercises to help increase muscle size.
