I have been experimenting with some new conditioning workouts as of late and here is a new one for you to try.
Perform the exercises below continuously for five rounds. As always, pay close attention to your heart rate and take necessary breaks when you feel like you need to.
1. Kettlebell Swings x 20
2. Sandbag Press x 20 (or do push-ups as an alternative)
3. Concept 2 Rower x 75 seconds (max effort)
Note: If you do not have a kettlebell then use a dumbbell. If you do not have access to a Concept 2 Rower then skip rope for 75 seconds.
The premise of this workout is to keep you moving and to keep your heart rate elevated for 15-25 minutes. How long it takes you to perform this circuit depends on your fitness level and the exercises performed. Have fun and tell me how you found it.
